Focus and Scope of the Journal
Vingnanam Journal of Science (VJSc) aims to reach a wide international audience and encourages the researchers to submit their work for publication. While authors from any stage of their career are welcome for submission, this Journal requests original experimental, theoretical or methodological research contributions, integrative reviews in any topics in Science.
All articles published in the journal are deposited with Crossref

Open Access Policy
All articles including editorials published in VJSc are immediate open access that makes the content freely available to the public in internet.
All the published documents in VJSc can be distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution (CC-BY) license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/). The Licensees may copy, distribute, display and perform the work and make derivative works and remixes based on it only if they give the author the credits (attribution) in the manner specified by these
The journal can also offer a Creative Commons Attribution, Non-commercial, No-derivatives (CC-BY-NC-ND) license if requested by the authors
Financial support and Article processing charges:
VJSc is a journal published by the Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna which is a state funded University in Sri Lanka. The journal does not charge for review, publication or any other related process. All the costs related to publication is borne by the Faculty of Science, University of Jaffna, Sri Lanka. The editorial and advisory board members including chief editors and associate editors are volunteering their service and no payments will be made for any of the activities related to the journal publication.
Archiving Policy
Every published article will be assigned a unique DOI number for fast and easy access. This journal is available for LOCKSS harvesting (http://lockss.org/) , to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
